Noreen F. Agnew, 68, of Johnson City passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, following a long illness.

Noreen was born on February 3, 1946 in New Paltz, NY; the daughter of the late George and Iola (LaForge) Davidson. On November 1, 1979 she married William Agnew in Walden, NY. She worked as a Meat Wrapper at Thruway Food Market in Walden, for many years.

Noreen enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with the grandkids, fishing, and boating with Bill.

Noreen is survived by her loving family, her husband: William Agnew, Johnson City, her daughter, Alycia and Alan Van Buren of Sidney Center; her step daughters, Lynda and Scott Preston of Gainesville, Florida; Judy and Marty Jay Agnew of Johnson City, her grandchildren, Lee and Jessica diLorenzo, Ethan diLorenzo, Christopher Preston, and Julia and Eli Van Buren, her brother, Donald Davidson of Bloomingburg, NY; her sisters, Dorothy (Gerald) Stockli of Virginia; Joyce Baxter of Montgomery, NY; her special friends, Carol Ritcher of Sidney, and Bill and Sue Ackerly of Wallkill, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held in the Woodland Valley Cemetery, New Windsor, NY at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
