Obituary

Norman F. Hoyt, 65 of Bovina Center, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning October 12, 2004 in the Margaretville Hospital.

Norm was born in Walton, the son of the late Walter and Ethel Palmer Hoyt. He married Janet M. McClenon on February 20, 1959. He was employed as an equipment operator for the Town of Delhi, retiring just last March, and was a farmer for many years.. He also worked as a landscaper and bushog operator. He loved to spend his free time hunting fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his wife: Janet M. Hoyt, two daughters: Lorraine and Brian Francisco of Delhi, Penny and Roger Hamilton of East Meredith, one son: Thomas and Norma Hoyt of Venice Center, NY, 4 grand children, Miranda, Chelsey, and Jordan Hoyt, and Devin Hamilton; one sister: Sandra Moody of Delhi, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and relatives may call Thursday evening October 14, 2004 from 6 to 8 PM at Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St, Walton, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am friday.

Burial will be Friday in Walton Cemetery.
