Owen R. "Bubba" Banks, beloved child of Brian and Kelly Banks, passed from this life unexpectedly, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich.

Owen was born in Norwich on August 31, 2007 the son of Brian and Kelly (Carpentier) Banks. He was lovable, carefree and happy, always smiling. He always had his special stuffed animal "Ducky" that he took with him every morning.

Owen is survived by his parents, Brian and Kelly, his sister Helena, his grandparents, Skip and Cindy Carpentier, Roger Banks, both of Walton; great grandparents, Joseph Carpentier, Florida; Helen and Leonard Rutherford, Walton; Margaret Podzunas, Connecticut; Grace Banks, Downsville; aunts and uncles, Michael and Dana Carpentier, Alfred Arnold, Mike and Genia Banks, Godparent Mindy Banks, Emily and Ben Vandermark, Godparent John and Ashley Banks, special friends, Mary Wright, Jessica Harding, Aaron Weighknecht, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday afternoon, December 26, 2008 from 4 to 6 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where services will be held at 6 PM.

Memorial contributions in Owen's memory may be made to a college fund for his sister, Helena.
