Patricia A. Caffery, 83, of Walton passed away on Monday evening, March 27, 2023 following a long illness.

Patricia was born on October 16, 1939 in Deposit the daughter of the late Harold and Edith (Mills) Barnes. She married Victor L. Caffery on August 28, 1957. He died on July 1, 2021.

Patricia worked in the Walton area as a Home Health Aide. She was a member of the Northfield Community Church. She enjoyed decorating cakes with her friends, doing genealogy, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her loving family, her children, Victor (Denise) Caffery of NC; David Caffery and Jennifer Caffery both of Walton; grandchildren, Amanda, Jasmine, Chelsey, Janna, Geoffery, Cheyanne, Brian, Emma, Grace, Iva, great grandchildren, Aiden, Ashlynne, Gavin, Hunter, Mason, Savannah, Trice, special friends, Sandra Bullis of Walton, and Barbara Cucciarre of TN; brothers, Thomas (Shirley) Barnes of Walton; Harold (Cathy) Barnes of Walton; sisters, Leola (Raymond) Bailey of FL; June Fairchild of Walton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Douglas Caffery, and brother, Donald Barnes.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 2 to 4 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St. Walton where services will be held at 4 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 1PM at Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton with Rev. Bob Wilkie, officiating.
