Patricia A. Houck, age 72, of Walton, NY, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on June 17, 1952 in Susquehanna, PA, the daughter of Russell Marcy and Therese Malloy.

Patricia lived a life dedicated to caring for others, serving as a nurse aide at Sidney Hospital and the Drug Rehab Unit in Walton for many years. Her compassionate spirit touched the lives of countless patients and families, reflecting her deep commitment to the nursing profession. Patricia took great joy in the company of animals and was often known for her love and compassion towards them and found solace and happiness in their presence.

In the last few years of her life, she enjoyed the new friends that she made at Delhi Rehab.  Spending her time sharing her snacks, getting her nails done and socializing.  She also made a special connection with her grandson Dakota and loved showing him off when he came in to visit.  In her final days she still cheered up when his name was mentioned.

Patricia is survived by 2 children: Brett (Marie) Houck, Tina (Todd) Sparling, and 3 grandchildren: Emmy, TJ and Danny Sparling and Dakota Houck.  Also surviving is a sister, Kathy Brundege; brother, Russell Marcy; niece Lori (George); nephews Kevin (Sherry), Michael; great niece and nephew Ariel and Alex.

Patricia is predeceased by her parents Russell and Therese Marcy and her husband Ray Houck Jr.

The family will hold a celebration of life to honor Patricia's life and legacy. Details regarding the service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations are made in Patricia's memory to a local animal shelter, reflecting her love for animals.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
