Patricia S. Kelly, 43, a lifelong resident of Walton, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 21, 2010 at Bassett Healthcare of Cooperstown, surrounded by her family.

Patty was born on July 22, 1967 in Walton, the daughter of Glenn and Audrey (Cole) MacGibbon. She was a graduate of Walton High School, class of 1985. On April 15, 1986 she married Kevin J.Kelly, in Walton. She was employed for many years by the Walton Big M as Deli Manager. She attended the Walton United Presbyterian Church.

Patty enjoyed doing anything outdoors. She loved to play softball, long walks, lunch dates with her girlfriends, shopping, where she could always find a bargain, and of course spending time with her family and being a good grandma.

Patty is survived by her loving family, her husband, Kevin, one daughter: Casey Kelly, of Walton, one son: Sean (Angela) Kelly of Walton; her mother, Audrey MacGibbon, Walton; two sisters: Vicky Walsh of Poughkeepsie, Sandy (Kurt) Tallman of Essex Junction, VT; one brother, Carl MacGibbon of Walton, grandaughter, Jazlyn, sisters in law and brothers In Law, Tara Kelly of Walton, Gary Enright of Long Island; Ginger & Patrick Stanton, Walton; Brian & Susan Kelly of Walton; special friends, Judy Reynolds, Carin Wood, Debbie Boice and Dede MacRabie, several nieces, nephews and cousins..

She was predeceased by her father, Glenn MacGibbon.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 5 to 7 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.
