Patricia A. Knapp, 86, of Walton, NY, passed away on August 20, 2025, at Wilson Hospital with her daughters by her side.

Patricia was born in Hancock, NY on November 8, 1938, to Lawrence and Mary Frances Doyle. She married Fred Knapp on August 2, 1958.

Besides raising a family, she was Fred's bookkeeper for his plumbing business, a babysitter, dog sitter, and even the neighborhood hairdresser.

Pat enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and taking care of her home and house plants. She loved her grand-fur babies, and spending time with her family.

Pat was predeceased by her husband Fred Knapp, her siblings, Shirley DeSilva, Robert Doyle, and Luella Olson. Her son in-law, Jerry D'Addezio, a niece JoAnne DeSilva, and nephew Steve Olson, and her dear friend Frances Watson.

Pat is survived by her daughters; Darla D'Addezio (Paul Olsen) and Tracy Knapp (Michael Kirtley), sister Betty Tompkins, of Downsville, NY, sister in-law Barb Doyle, three nephews, the D'Addezio family, and close family friend Rosie Green.

A graveside service for Patricia will be held on Friday August 29, 2025, at 11am at the Walton Cemetery located at 55 Fancher Ave Walton, NY 13856.

Memorial donations may be made in Pat's name to Heart of the Catskills, Walton Emergency Squad, and The Walton Cemetery.
