Patricia T. Peck, 66, of Walton passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday morning, March 9, 2010 at Bassett Healthcare of Cooperstown.

Pat was born on October 26, 1943 in Utica the daughter of the late Francis and Amelia (Mickel) Thayer. She was a graduate of Binghamton High School, class of 1961 and later attended Delhi Tech. On June 15, 1963 she married J. Edson Peck. Pat's most important job was taking care of her family. She also enjoyed working at the Walton Theatre, Alice's Attic, the Courtney Funeral Home, and at the fire house, where she always did her best to help others.

Pat was a longtime member of the Walton Fire Dept's Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, where she made hundreds of afghan's for family and friends and collecting Thomas Kinkaid's art.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband: Ed, her two daughters: Lisa (Joe) Phoenix; and Terri (Jim) Tweedie both of Walton; her grandchildren and the bright lights of her world, Nate and Alaina; one sister: Sue Riles, of Plant City, FL and one brother: Jerry (Sheila) Thayer of San Antonio, TX; nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family in and around the fire house, where she will truly be missed.

In keeping with Pat's wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
