Patricia J. Stigen, 80, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at home with her family by her side after a long illness.

Patricia was born October 22, 1942 in Oneonta, NY the daughter of the late Charles and Rachel (Odell) Beams. She was married to Larry Stigen who predeceased her.

Patricia worked in Culinary for the U.S. Government in Nevada before retiring. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and was in a Motorcycle Club in Nevada. She loved traveling, camping, fishing, going to the casinos, cooking and baking.

Patricia is survived by her loving family, children, Doug Hoyt, Robert W. Hoyt (Lori Ogden) all of Walton, Cynthia Carey of Norwich, grandchildren, Derek (Ashley) Hoyt, Matthew Hoyt, Robert J. (Brianna) Hoyt, Melissa (Michael Hill), Angela (Richard Shofkom) Myron (Danielle) Carey, Jr., Heather (Jeremy Jones), 14 great grandchildren, brothers, Carl, Bobby, and Chester "Chet", sisters, Kate and Anna, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by brother, Benjamin Beams, and sister, Mary Hoyt.

Services will be privately with the family. The family is being cared for by Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
