Patricia G. Valentine 66, of Walton passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown after a long illness.

Pat was born August 4, 1945 in Walton the daughter of the late Leslie Gardepe and Dorothy (Deighton) Gardepe . On April 29, 1967 she married Louis Valentine he predeceased her on July 9, 2007.

Pat was employed by Park Terrace Adult Home in Walton, where she started as a Cook then became a nursing assistant.

Pat is survived by one son, Scott and Jennifer (Neale) Valentine of Virginia; two grandsons, Aiden and Brock, her brother, Les Gardepe, her brother in laws, Ernest and Clarice Valentine, Carl and Barbara Valentine, her sister in laws, Dixie and Ule Grant, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday evening, December 8, 2011 from 6 to 8PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, where services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11AM with the Rev. Bert Moore, officiating.
