Patrick R. Cooper, of Walton passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2019 following a brief illness, he was 59.

He was born on January 11, 1960, the son of the late William and Rose Brothers Cooper. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence High School, Massena, class of 1978. On June 2, 2007 he married the former Mary Miller in Walton.

Patrick loved his Harley Motorcycles, spending time with his grandchildren and the company of his 2 English bulldogs Babe and Rhino.

He is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter, Haley and her husband Dylan DeBrock of Walton, his sons William and his wife Amber Powell of Florida, and Robert and his wife Jessica Powell of Florida and 4 grandchildren, Godric, Elijah, Mayson and Rowyn, his brother, Bill Cooper of Walton, his sister Roxanne Davis of Florida, his special friend Ryan Brown , his sister in law Kathy Cooper and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his aunt Harriet Brothers, his cousin David Brothers both of Massena and also his niece Natasha Hall of Florida.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Courtney Funeral Home 25 Townsend Street Walton on Friday February 8 , 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday February 9 , 2019 at 12 noon. Internment for Patrick will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 1:00PM in Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Ave, Walton. Memorial donations may be made in Patrick's memory to a charity of one's choice
