Paul H. Crossman, 74, a resident of Chenango Forks since 2007, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 3, 2012 at home in Chenango Forks, surrounded by his family..

Paul was born on December 19, 1937 in Towners, NY the son of the late Roy and Irene (Haake) Crossman. On May 3, 1975 he married the former Sue Davis at the Plymouth Church in Walton.

Paul was employed by Gray-Bell Transportation, Holland Michigan as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed traveling to see his family and playing video games. He was a member of the Teamsters.

Paul is survived by his loving family, his wife, Sue, his children, George (Sue) Decker of Berkshire; Maurice (Jessie) Decker of Windsor; Donnie (Connie) Crossman of Cadosia; Paul (Anne) Crossman, Jr. of Chenango Forks, David Crossman of Whitney Point; John (Jo Anne) Crossman of Chenango Forks; Ramona Curtain of Chenango Forks; Patrick Crossman of Effort, PA; his 27 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, his sisters, Irene (Bob) Boyd of Norwich; Virginia (George) Relyea of Forsth, MO; Johanna (Rob) Lundius of Marion, IN; Louise Crossman of Orlando, FL; June (James) Batisti of Catskill,NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eric, Bruce, Roy Jr., John, and Robert Crossman, sisters, Marion Bradley, Josephine Biggar, and Edith Crossman.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 12 noon to 2 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 2 PM with Paul's son, the Rev. Don Crossman, officiating. Burial will be held in Beekman Cemetery, Poughquag, NY; at the convenience of the family.
