Paula L. Bennett, 59, of Greenville, South Carolina formerly of Sidney Center, passed away unexpectedly in St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Paula was born March 27, 1956 in Oneonta, NY the daughter of Bradley and Janet (Holbrook) Prentice.

Paula was employed as an Assistant Manager for Ayers in Jacksonville, Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Denver Broncos on television.

Paula is survived by her mother, Janet Prentice of Greene, her children, Joseph and Julie Bennett of Walton, Timothy Bennett of Walton; her grandchildren, Skylar, Montanya, Kordel, her significant other, Jerry Mackenzie of SC; her sisters and brothers in law, Elaine and Fred Beers of Walton, and Patricia and Roger Hughs, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Bradley Prentice and her sister Elizabeth Montgomery.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday evening, October 22, 2015 from 6 to 8PM at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
