In Loving Memory of Pauline P. Scherer

On this day, as the sun sets upon the life of Pauline P. Scherer, we gather to honor and celebrate a woman who touched the hearts of all who knew her. Born on July 19, 1930, in the bustling city of New York, Pauline embraced life with a warmth and grace that endeared her to many.

With heavy hearts, we announce her passing on October 16, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by her children, Eric, Georgine, Claudine, Joan, Laure, Joel, and Jonathan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews cousins and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her father Frances Metz, her mother Ellis Jones, her loving husband George Joseph Scherer and her baby boy Carl.

Throughout her life, Pauline had a passion for writing, painting, and enjoying comedy. She found solace in putting her thoughts on paper and creating beautiful artwork.

Though her journey on earth has come to an end, Pauline's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she loved. Her gentle presence, unwavering strength, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

To honor her life and memory, a gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate Pauline's remarkable life. Calling Hours will be held Friday December 6, 2024, 10AM to 12PM, the funeral service will be held Friday December 6, 2024, at 12PM located at the New Hope Church, Walton, NY with Pastors' Larry Light and Jack Steele will be officiating. We will come together to share stories, shed tears, and find solace in each other's embrace.

As we bid farewell to Pauline, let us take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth she brought to the world.

A private burial will be held at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
