Peter "Pete" E. Heston, 68, of Walton passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.

Pete was born on October 11, 1946 in White Plains, NY, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Holzner) Heston. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

On January 26, 1991 he married the former Stacey White in Delhi, NY. He worked the majority of his life as a welder for Northeast Fabrication in Walton. Pete spent much of his time with his dogs; PQ, Mischief, Smooch, Spuds, and Tipper. Pete was an avid NASCAR fan. Among his many interests, Pete enjoyed restoring old vehicles and rebuilding car engines. He restored a 1977 Chevy Pickup truck from the frame up; an accomplishment of which he was truly proud.

Pete is survived by his wife; Stacey; his father and mother-in-law Edward and Karen White; his sister-in-laws Sara (Brent) Nichols of Walton and Kristy White and his brother-in-laws, Ed, James, and Mark White all from Hancock, NY. Also surviving is his friend; James Middleton of Starlight, PA; honorary nephews Nathan, Joshua, and Noah Middleton all of Walton, his close friends, Buster Luscomb, Fred Babcock, Jimmy and Jill Decker, Bobby and Mary Wilke. He was predeceased by his parents, his Aunt Katrina, and Grandpa Raymond MacGibbon.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 12 Noon with the Pastor Bob Wilke, officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 1PM at the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton with Full Military Honors.
