Born Jan. 15th, 1980 - June 10th, 2024

Predeceased: Grandfathers: Clifford Stanton, Jerome Spinola. Grandmothers: Martha Stanton, Gloria Hawkins.

Survivors:  Children:  Jerome Stanton (Johanne Cook), Cadence & Zander Stanton (Michelle Truman), Liam Stanton (Melinda Howard).

Parents: Peter & Brenda Stanton.

Siblings: Jerrod Stanton (Jamie Stanton), Adam Stanton, (Becky Rowe), Amber Stanton Dunbar (Adam Dunbar), Shad Shelton.

Nephews: Kaylieb Stanton, Kamrin Stanton, Landen Stanton, Jerrod Jr. (JD) Stanton, Lucas Stanton, Brantley Stanton, Graycen Stanton, Kashton Stanton, Krew Stanton, Kye Stanton, Carl Shelton, Eli Dunbar, & Devin Dunbar.

Nieces: Miley Dunbar, Aaliyah Stanton, Madison Stanton, Jamie Shelton, Elizabeth Maserella, Mia Stanton, Bria Stanton,

Bonus nephews and nieces.  Grandparents, Many Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins.

Pete loved coaching younger generation in all sports especially football and baseball.  He loved watching his kids, nephews/nieces, and all the kids he coached playing sports all through their careers.  He was a huge gamer - he loved playing call of duty and other games with his online buddies, his sons, and nephews.  He was a huge raiders fan.  He was a loving Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Boss, & Friend.  He loved coaching just like his grandpa Stanton.  He loved spending time with his brothers, sons, and nephews getting ready for Derbies.  Pete would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it.  He will be missed by so many as he has left a positive imprint on his family and our community.

Instead of flowers the family is asking you make a donation in memory of Peter B. Stanton Jr.  to the Walton Athletics.  Pete loved being a warrior!  Coach Hoover and the rest of the staff had a big impact on his love for sports especially Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

Calling hours for Peter will be held Monday June 17th, 2024, 5PM-7PM at New Hope Church located at 45 Stockton Ave, Walton, NY 13856.

Service will be held Tuesday June 18th, 2024, at 1PM at New Hope Church with Pastor Larry Light officiating. Following the service the burial will take place at the Walton Cemetery located at 55 Fancher Ave, Walton NY.
