Phillip L. Kirk, 66 of Walton passed away as a result of a fire on Monday, February 8, 2016 at home.

Phillip was born on June 26, 1949 in Boone, West Virginia the son of the late Leon and Faye (Brown) Kirk. He was a self-employed stone cutter in the Walton area. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing.

Phillip is survived by his children, Leslie (Robert Spizer) McClenon of Walton; Phillip K. McClenon of Walton; grandchildren, Angel, Skye, and Nevaeh, sister, Gertrude (Wayne) More of Whitesville, WV. He was predeceased by his brothers, Isaac "John" Kirk, Paul Franklin Kirk, Clyde David Kirk, and his sister, Charlene Walker.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10 AM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton with Pastor Don Crossman, officiating. Burial will be held in the Walton Cemetery in the spring.
