Phyllis A. Stay, 75, of Walton, passed away on Saturday evening, August 4, 2018 at the Roscoe Community Nursing Home, following a long illness.

Phyllis was born on April 17, 1943 in Stony Point, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Call) Palmer. She was employed as a CNA in Virginia for many years.

Phyllis is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Frances Stay of Roscoe; one sister, Louise Palmer of Garnerville, NY and one brother: Matthew & Margaret Palmer of Arizona. She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Parkinson.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 3:00pm with Rev. Parrish Bridges officiating.
