It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond E. Cole, 75, who left us on December 2, 2025, at the age of 75 at AO Fox Hospital in Oneonta, NY. Born on April 3, 1950, in Walton, NY, to his parents Philip Cole and Marian (McClenon) Cole.
Ray was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and G-Pop. He was a dedicated laborer, and true friend to many. He worked tirelessly with the New York State Department of Transportation, where his contributions helped pave the way for countless travelers across our beautiful state.
Ray enjoyed spending time with family, his beloved Harley Davidson and going on the hunt for the elusive Bigfoot.
Ray was a man of strength and resilience, He was a proud member of the Walton community, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh with friends and neighbors. His playful spirit and genuine warmth left a profound mark on all who knew him.
Ray is survived by his cherished wife, Virginia Cole, of Walton NY who lovingly stood by his side through thick and thin. His beloved children; Debra Spicer-Mann(Fonzy Mann) Walton, Robert Spicer(Leslie McClenon) Walton, Grandchildren Raven Alford, Brooklynn Alford, Dakota Mann, Angel McClenon, Skye Spicer, Nevaeh Spicer, Veronica Crossman and Great Grandchildren, Legend Flores, Dynastie Kenney, Dakota Margaret Mann, Aireth McClenon, his maternal aunt Arlene Choate of Hamden NY, brothers Daniel Cole (Kathryn) of Walton, Philip Cole (Janet) of Sidney NY, Phyllis Beers of Eidson TN and Deborah Cole of Walton and many nieces and nephews.
Ray was predeceased by; his Parents Philip and Marian Cole, Grandson Isaah Mann and brother-in-law Andrew Beers
Family and friends are invited to honor Ray's life Friday December 12, 2025, at 12pm at the Riverside Alliance Church located at 110 Stockton Ave, Walton, NY 13856. Pastor Milton Cruz will be officiating the service. The family invites all who knew and loved Raymond to join them for a luncheon at the church immediately after the service.
In this time of sorrow, let us remember Ray for the joy he brought into our lives and the lessons he imparted. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
