Obituary

Raymond Ludwin, 51, of Walton since 1982, formerly of Brooklyn passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Fox Hospital in Oneonta after a long illness.

Raymond was born in Brooklyn on October 24, 1960 the son of Walter and Dorothy (Stankiewicz) Ludwin, Jr.

Raymond was a Watchmaker at Hartley Jewelers in New York City. He was a member of the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Walton, the NRA, and he was the Treasurer and Greeter for New Residents Associaton at Countryside.

Raymond is survived by, his mother Dorothy, his sister, Arlene Occhipinti of Walton; his neice, and nephew, Jessica and Damien, several cousins, and the residents of Countryside Care Center. He was predeceased by his father Walter Ludwin, Jr., and his brother, Thomas Ludwin.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 17 at Saint John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 17-25 Benton Avenue, Walton, with Rev. Edward J Golding officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
