Raymond W. Schick, 77, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Delaware Valley Hospital, following a long illness.

Raymond was born in Brooklyn,on December 16, 1936, the son of the late William and Kathryn (Biddulph) Schick.

Raymond proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. On September 22, 1956 he married the former Mary Fedor in Ridgewood, Queens.

Raymond was a Police Officer for the New York Police Department for 20 years. He was a member of the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Walton, NYC PBA, Steuben Assn., 1013 Assn., Club Royale, and the Holy Name Society.

Raymond is survived by his loving family, his wife, Mary, his children, Raymond (Patti) Schick of Queens; Stephen(Linda) Schick of Walton; Kathryn (Ted) Giovanniello of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Raymond III and Meghan, Kevin, Bryan and Lindsay, Collin, Lori Ann, Ted Joseph Taylor and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Eileen McClancy, and Dorothy McNamara.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 25 Benton Avenue, Walton with the Rev. Edward J. Golding, celebrant.
