Rebecca B Budine, 77 of Sidney Center, passed away Sunday morning, March 18, 2007, in the N.Y. State Veterans Home, Oxford, after a long illness.

Rebecca was born in Sidney on January 25, 1930 the daughter of Walter and Pauline Shackelton Kinch. In 1953 she married Lawrence L Budine. He died in 1994. She was employed for many years as a clerk at Tony's Shoe Store, Walton. She also worked as a waitress at the Telestar Restaurant. Rebecca loved bowling, movies, gardening, and cooking.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline, Walton, two daughters: Sherry (Andrew) Jackson of Walton, Marcia (Thomas) Hammond of Northfield, 5 grandchildren, Jessica Mullen, Rebecca Jackson, Andrew T. Jackson, Drew and Wade Hammond, 1 great grandson, Jackson J. Mullen, 2 brothers, Robert and Ernest Kinch, both of Walton, 3 nieces, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Walter, her husband, Lawrence, a brother Walter, and a sister, Barbara Nichols who passed on February 23, 2007.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 11 AM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, with the Rev. Larry Light officiating. There are no calling hours.
