It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Regina C. LaRoche, 57, born on November 24, 1968, in Jamaica, NY. Regina left us peacefully on March 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness.

Regina was a spirited soul who brought joy and laughter to those around her. A devoted Dietary Aide at South Country Adult Home in South Patchogue, she spent her days caring for others, always lifting their spirits with her warm smile and generous heart. Regina's love for life was evident in her many passions, including her cherished bingo games and her love of music. She found joy in the simple things, reminding us all of the beauty in every moment.

Family was incredibly important to Regina, and she shared a deep bond with her sister, Julie Cottone. Their close relationship was a source of strength and comfort for both, especially through life's challenges. Regina was also a loving mother, always striving to provide the best for her daughter, even during her struggles.

Regina is survived by her beloved family, 2 sisters; Julie and Maria Cottone, 1 brother James Cottone, 1 daughter Christina Erickson, 3 Grandsons; Liam, Paul and Jeremy, and 2 nephews; Anthony and Kyle Cottone.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents Richard Cottone and Julia Cintron Cottone.

As we remember Regina, let us celebrate the kind, loving person she was. Her light will shine on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Regina. You will be missed dearly.
