Obituary

Regina Watson, 73, of Corbett passed away peacefully ,Friday, May 3, 2013 at home with family and friends by her side, following a long illness.

Regina was born in Walton on April 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Reginald and Althea (Hunt) Houck. She was a graduate of Walton High School, class of 1958, where she was a member of the Library Club, Rifle Club, FHA and intermurals. On October 15, 1958 she married Arthur E. Watson. She was employed at Wassaic Developmental Center as a staff attendant. During Regina's life in Wassaic, she took in many foster children. She loved nature walks and identifying wildflowers, hunting, camping, fishing, sewing and crafts.

Regina was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Downsville; and the Daughters of the King, Red Hat Society.

Regina is survived by her loving family, her husband, Art, one daughter: Delight Watson & Greg of Whitney Point; two sons, Richard & Eleanor Campbell of Wingdale, NY, James Watson of Downsville; grandchildren, Richard Campbell, Millerton; Michael Campbell, Wingdale; Laceyanne and Duane McCaul, Wingdale; Cameron Campbell, Kissimee,FL; Brandon A. Watson, Britney L. Airs, Brandon S. Airs, great-grandchildren, Bently, Shawn, Julie, Analyse, Nathan and Brittney; two sisters, Roberta DeGroot of Inglis, Florida, and Linda & Joseph Axlerod of Hemingway, SC; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Regina was predeceased by brothers, Harold and Gordon and a granddaughter, Buffie Jo.

A Celebration of Regina's life will be held at 11 A M on June 15, 2013 at the Corbett Community Center.
