Richard "Rick" N. Allen, age 72, of Walton passed away Tuesday evening, November 2, 2010 at Delaware Valley Hospital.

Mr. Allen was born April 29, 1938 in Walton. He is the son of the late Phillip and Ella (Lockwood) Allen. He married Mareah Shackelton on October 29, 1966 at the United Presbyterian Church in Walton.

Richard served in the Army and belonged to the Walton Vets Club in Walton.

Richard was a real family man and his family was everything to him. He liked to hunt and fish, a big wrestling fan, and Pack 45 Cub Scout Leader.

He is survived by his wife, Mareah (Shackelton) Allen ,his children, Ted (Pam) Gladstone, Walton; Michael (Adelfa) Allen, Trout Creek; Brian (Jodi) Allen, Walton; Denise Allen, Walton; Sister; Carolyn (Doug) Brown, New Mexico; 4 Grandchildren, Phillip, Brandon, Samantha, Dakota; Sister-in-law, Glenn (Mickey) Shakelton, Walton.

Richard was predeceased by his brother, Lester Allen; sister, Frances Allen; and Brother In Law, Ben Shackelton.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Walton Cemetery on Friday, November 5, 2010, at 2:00PM with Rev. Larry Light officiating.
