Richard (Dick) Bartz died on December 11, 2022.

Richard was born in Coventry, New York on September 7, 1932. He is

predeceased by his parents, Reverend William and Lulu Bartz, his brother Stanley

Bartz, his sisters, Dorothy Webb and Elizabeth Brown.

Dick is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret (Peg) Bartz, and his children:

Diane (Keith) Olivet, Patricia (John) Gorman, Susan (George) Willis, William (Roxy) Bartz, and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Dick was an active member of the United Presbyterian Church of Walton, New

York since 1960. He was a 35 year employee of Kraft (Breakstones) and had a love for farming and woodworking. He also worked part-time for Warren Peck and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed help.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the United Presbyterian Church, 58 East Street, Walton, New York. Calling hours will be at 1:00 p.m. at the church with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with a coffee hour following the service in the church's Fellowship Room.

Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Dick's name to the Buildings and Grounds Committee, United Presbyterian Church, Walton New York, 13856.
