Richard E. Bodiot, 79, ran out of miracles on January 16, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Richard was born to Hugh and Ramona (Davidson) Bodiot on November 1, 1935. Richard graduated from Walton Central School, class of 1953. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from August, 1953 to June, 1963.

Richard was joined in marriage to Martha (Dean) Bodiot on July 30, 1958. They celebrated 56 wonderful years together.

Richard leaves behind his loving wife; Martha Bodiot, his children; Daniel (Carolyn) Bodiot and Susan (Robert) Acke, his grandchildren; Justin and Laura Acke, Ryan (Amanda) Bodiot, Mallory (Robert) Rich, his sister; Maxine Stilwell and brother-in-law; Richard Buchanan and many neices, nephews and great-grandchilrdren.

Richard is predeceased by his father; Hugh Bodiot, his mother; Ramona (Davidson) Bodiot, his brothers Jimmy Bodiot and Terry Bodiot, his sisters Yvonne (Bodiot) Roe, Faye (Bodiot) Szczepczynski and Sheila (Bodiot) Buchanan.

A private ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family in Jacksonville, Florida at the National Cemetery.
