Richard L. DeMoney, a beloved husband, son, and proud US Army veteran, peacefully passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 80 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi, NY.

Born on April 13, 1944, in Oneonta, NY, Richard spent his life dedicated to the farming industry, working tirelessly on the farm, and serving his country in the US Army. Richard enjoyed hunting and hot rod muscle cars.  He was a man of hard work, dedication, and integrity, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Grace DeMoney, and two children; son Michael DeMoney, and daughter Michele Terry (Palmer.) Richard is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Rebecca, Samantha, Tessa, Richard, and Kayla Kevin and many great grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.

A Military funeral service to honor and celebrate Richard's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to invite everyone to join them for a memorial gathering Friday September 27, 2024 at 3PM at the American Legion in Delhi, located at 41 Page Ave, Delhi, NY 13753.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Veterans Support Fund in honor of Richard's dedication and service to his country.

Richard L. DeMoney will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
