Hamden-Richard C. Parsons, 76, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on February 27, 1945 in Newburgh, a son of the late Robert and Aina (Refsbeck) Parsons. Rich is a graduate of Walton Central School. He retired from Bailey's and The College Association of Delhi.

Rich had a love for Calculus and had a gift of tutoring throughout the community. He had a love for bowling. Rich will always be remembered for his "Richardisms".

Survivors include his wife, Dolores (McCabe) Parsons; family, Edward Hartwell (Lisa), Jennifer Hartwell (Michael), David Hartwell (Kat), Brian Hartwell (Ayat), John-Daniel Hartwell (Lynne) and Christina Hartwell-Kelly (Paul); grandchildren, Julianna Hartwell, Serena Hartwell and Ayden Hartwell. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Parsons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11am at St. John the Baptist, 25 Benton Ave, Walton, with Fr. Golding officiating. Burial for Rich will be held in the Spring at Walton Cemetery.
