Rick Joseph Genovese, 45, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Binghamton Memorial Hospital in Binghamton.

Rick was born on June 5, 1968 in Hackensack, New Jersey the son of Philip Frank Genovese and Augusta J. Genovese.

Rick was a Renovation Carpenter. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and horseback riding.

Rick is survived by his mother, Josie, his brother, Gene (Gail) Genovese of West Cauldwell, NJ; his sisters, Donna (Peter) Angus of Belvidere, NJ; Laura (Michael)Reilly of Rockaway Township, NJ; and his 9 nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Philip Frank Genovese and his brother, Philip Peter Genovese.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 12:30PM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 21 Benton Avenue, Walton with the Rev. Edward J. Golding, officiating.

Memorial Contributions in Rick's memory may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
