Ricky W. Kingsbury, 66, of Walton passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at home, following a long illness.

Ricky was born on April 29, 1957 in Walton, the son of the late Myron and Nancy (Gray) Kingsbury. On October 10, 2020 he married Lorna Luscomb in Walton.

Ricky worked for Fred Hungerford in Oneonta as a Maintenance Man. He loved tinkering on things, especially carpentry and working outside. He loved telling stories.

Ricky is survived by his loving family, his wife, Lorna Luscomb, sisters, Victoria Kingsbury of South Kortright, Karen Decker of Franklin, special friends, Tom DeMann, Dave Madore, Fred Hugerford, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, David Kingsbury, and sister, Melodie Kingsbury.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the home of Dave Madore at Reed Road in Hobart at 1PM. Arrangements are under the care of Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
