Robert B. Gleason, 90, of Walton, N.Y. passed away peacefully on Saturday January 2, 2010, after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his wife, Delta June (Cook) Gleason in 2002.

He is survived by three sons; Gary R. Gleason, (Lynn) of Manlius and their children, Andrew (Anielle) and Meghan. Michael L. Gleason, (Deb) of Fabius and their three sons, Scott (Abby), Matthew (Lori), and Michael. Thomas E. Gleason, (Cindy) and their three children, Sarah (Matt) Kazmierski, Aaron and Brayton, and two great-grandchildren Alaina Kazmierski and Colin Gleason.

He was predeceased by his brother Howard. He is survived by three brothers Wayne (Sally), Douglas (Ruberta) and Morris (Mary), his sister Dorothy Gleason Garcia, brother-in-law, Don Cook, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Reynolds, and many nieces and nephews.

They moved to Syracuse from Antwerp, N.Y. in 1950 and lived in No. Syracuse until 1965 when they relocated to Walton, N.Y. Robert was a former Village Justice for Walton and an active member of the Walton Fire Department and Emergency Squad. He was also a past President of the Walton Lions Club. He retired from Breakstone Foods and Del-Met.

Graveside funeral services will be held in the spring in Antwerp, N.Y. for immediate family only. Contributions can be made to the Walton Fire Department/Emergency Squad or Delaware Valley Hospital.
