Robert A. Hulbert, 67, a long time resident of Walton, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, August 18, 2010 at Delaware Valley Hospital.

Bob was born in Walton, on January 15, 1943 the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Seymour) Hulbert. He was a graduate of Walton Central School, class of 1961. He also was a college graduate with a degree in accounting. On July 2, 1966 he married the former Loretta Patton.

Bob was a long and faithful member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of both Walton and in Indianapolis, many years ago. He enjoyed growing vegetables, raising beef cattle, watching collegiate football and basketball.

Robert is survived by his loving family, his wife, Loretta, his children, James Hulbert, Charlotte, NC; Jean (Jamie) Blowers, Naperville, IL; Jerry (Romilyn) Hulbert , Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Benjamin and Emily Blowers; Joshua, Jonathan and Julianna Hulbert; brothers, Denny and his wife Carol Hulbert of Walton; Ronald Hulbert of Walton; and Barry and his wife Mary Hulbert of Ohio; ; Kevin Sparling of Virginia; sisters, Nancy and her husband Jerry Constable of Sidney; a sister, Susan and her husband Boyd Respess of North Carolina; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandson, Jacob Hulbert; brothers, Carl and Jerald Hulbert, and sisters who died in infancy Catherine and Patricia.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday afternoon, August 20, 2010, from 5 to 7 PM at the Reformed Presbyterian Church, Bruce & East Sts., Walton where services will be held at 7 PM. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery on Saturday morning at 10 AM. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
