Robert R. Shelton, 38, of Trout Creek, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 14, 2019 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton.

Bob was born on April 12, 1980 in Walton, the son of Stephen Shelton and Ellen (Beers) Alfert. He was a graduate of Walton Central School, class of 1998. On June 11, 2016 he married the former Denise Chester. He worked at Saputo, Frasiers.

Bob is survived by his wife, Denise, father, Stephen Shelton, mother and stepfather, Ellen and Han Alfert, step children, Cameron, Hannah, Madysen, grandmother, Joyce Beers, brothers and sisters, Scott (Nikki), John "Moose" (Shannon), Brittney, Barry, Jennifer, Jessica, his devoted dog, Harley, and several, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6 to 8pm at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
