Robin S. Sprague, 56, a lifelong resident of Walton passed away unexpectedly, Friday, May 16, 2014 at home.

Robin was born on July 31, 1957 in Walton, the daughter of the late Clair and Earline Jenkins Gray Jr. She was a collector of dolls, a flower gardener, and a crafter. She also loved spending time with her grandkids, whenever she could.

Robin is survived by her loving family, her husband, Ed Sprague, her children, her daughter, Nicole Merwin David Peck of Downsville; two sons, Randy and Mary-Joe MacRabie of Trout Creek; Thad MacRabie of Walton; grandchildren, Trevor Merwin, James Peck, John and Haley MacRabie and Kalea Boulanger; sisters, Penny Gray of Arkansas, Debbie and James Constable of Trout Creek; Jackie and Willard Cole of Tennessee; and Kathy and Tom Kelsey of Tennessee; step-sister, Terrina and Rob LaTourette, Oneonta; aunts and uncles, Gail Ferguson and Sam, Sidney; Joyce Mack, Maryland; Dora Curtin, Walton; great-aunts, Janet McClenon, Florida and Bea Gray, Tennessee; close friends, Lila and Willy Ackerman and Steve Welch; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a grandson, Cole Merwin; sister and brother in law, Joanne and Ralph Johnson, aunt and uncle, Sandra and James Gray.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, May 23 at Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Ave., Walton, NY with Rev. Bert More officiating. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
