Roger H. Kinch, 66, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY.

Roger was born January 25, 1951 in Walton, NY the son of the late James Richard and Florence (Benedict) Kinch.

Roger retired after working for S.J. Bailey and Sons as a shipping clerk and later for RFI as a Job Coach. During his time as a resident of Downsville, he served as president of the Board of Education and remains well loved in the area.

Roger was a lifelong Cleveland Browns Fan passing that particular curse on to his son and grandsons.

Roger is survived by his loving family, sons Travis H. and Kate Kinch of Downsville, NY; Derek Kinch of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Harper and Koleman, longtime partner Kathleen Hessinger of Walton, NY; ex-wife, Phyllis (Titch) Bellows; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, George Lamont (Panda) Kinch, and sister, Judy (Kinch) Ferguson.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, January 27 from 11AM to 1PM at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where services will be held at 1PM with Rev. Bert More, officiating.
