Ronald M. Becker, 76, of Burlington Flats passed away early Monday morning, December 29, 2014 at Chase Memorial Nursing Home of New Berlin, following a short illness.

Ron was born October 28, 1938 in Andes, the son of the late Grant and late Hazel (Miner) Becker. He lived in Tremperskill for many years, early in life. He always worked hard doing odd jobs, shoveling snow, mowing lawns and cleaning up at the Andes Hotel.

Ron is survived by several nieces and nephews, the Regina Loiacono family who took special care of Ronnie.

Among Ron's extended family are his many friends and caseworkers at Otsego ARC, Broome County DDSO, and all the Day Treatment programs he attended throughout his life. He was predeceased by his brother, Gordon Becker, and his sisters, Millicent Bryant, Delores Barlow, and Maxine Melvin.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, January 2, 2014 from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY where funeral services will be at 1PM with the Rev. Dale Ashby, officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 1PM at the Andes Cemetery, Andes, New York.
