Ronald T. Sherield 64 of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, December 27, 2013, at Tri-Town Hospital.

Ronald was born on July 8, 1949 to Albert M.(deceased) and Theresa (Breedlove) Sherield in Brooklyn, New York. Ronald enjoyed being with people, and sharing a joke with others which brought laughter and smiles. He loved all the girls who took care of him, and they also loved him.

Ronald is survived by, his mother, Theresa, a brother, Albert D. Sherield , a sister in law, Peggy Sherield, a nephew, James Sherield, one aunt, two uncles, several cousins; and friends at the Circle Drive IRA and the Norwich Day Hab. His brother Reginald predeceased Ronald.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 11 AM to 12 noon at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY where funeral services will be held at 12, noon, with the Rev. Jay O'Connor, officiating. Burial will be in the spring at the conveinence of the family.
