Ronald A. Walley, 47, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at home.

Ron was born on March 23, 1970 in Walton, the son of the late Gleason and Joyce (Mapes) Walley, Sr. He was a graduate of Walton Central School, class of 1988.

Ron enjoyed spending time with his family at gatherings and tending his menagerie of animals. He also enjoyed time outside gardening, fishing, and hunting.

Ron is survived by his loving family, brothers, Gleason (Jill) Walley, Jr, of Potsdam, William (Kimberly) Walley and Brian (Abigail) Walley, all of Walton; sister, Christina (Brian) Adamo of Walton, special friend, Marilyn Smith, of Delhi; and her children, Camren and Cassandra, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Walton Cemetery with Rev. Bert More, officiating.
