Rose Auletta

(March 11, 1927 - December 3, 2009)

Rose Auletta 82 passed away late Thursday evening, December 3, 2009 at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

Rose was born in Englewood, NJ on March 11, 1927 the daughter of the late Angelo and Gussie Schwartz Epstein (Del Amonica). On June 3, 1953 she married Victor M. Auletta who predeceased her on November 24, 2009.

Rose was a loving wife and devoted mother. Family was most important to her and she was always there to care for them in their time of need. She enjoyed knitting, crotcheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Susan Esposito Walton, NY and Cathy Falk Plainsboro, NJ, son Victor (Mairead) Auletta, East Windsor, NJ; grandchildren, Timothy, Gerri Rose, Victor, Sean, Dan and Will, brothers Max (Fran) Epstein, Old Tappan, NJ and Vinnie Amonica, formerly of Tenafly, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Sadie and brothers Dave, Louie, Nathan, Sal and Harry.

Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Barrett Funeral Home, 148 Dean Drive, Tenafly, NJ (201-568-8043), on December 6, 2009 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
