Rose E. Bushell, 63, of Sidney Center, NY, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, NY.

Born in Ossining, NY, Rose was the daughter of the late Gus and Peg (Donovan) Lannon. She married George Bushell on Dec. 31, 1961 at St. Ann's Church, Ossining, NY. Rose and George moved to this area from Ossining in 2001. Rose was a homemaker and she loved animals, expecially cows; and she was devoted to her grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her husband, George, one daughter: Katie Bushell of Sidney Center, and three sons: Timothy (Barbara) Bushell of Cortlandt Manor, NY, George (Shannon) Bushell of Peekskill, NY and Patrick Bushell of Ossining, NY. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, a cousin, Eleanor Bartini of Lee, MA and other cousins.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday evening, April 10, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Church of St. John the Baptist, Benton Ave., Walton on Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery, Sidney Center, NY.
