Ross A. Patton, 89, formerly of Walton, passed away early Sunday morning, February 21, 2010 at the N.Y. State Veterans Home in Oxford, NY.

Ross was born on January 25, 1921 in Passiac, NJ, the son of the late Walter and Ida Patton.

He proudly served in the US Army during World War II. He was employed for many years as an auditor at Amphenol in Sidney. He enjoyed living in the country and in the presence of his beloved dogs.

A graveside service, with full military honors, will be held at Walton Cemetery in the spring.
