Rubina "Ruby" Viggiano, 63 of Sidney passed away early Saturday morning, June 17, 2006, surrounded by her loving adopted family.

Ruby was born August 23, 1942 in Mt Vernon, NY the daughter of the late Angelo and Stella Ludovico. Although challenged, Ruby was a special person, and brightened the lives of the many people she came in contact with.

Ruby is survived by her caregiver, friend, and "Mother", Julia Gardner, her many close "siblings", Anna, Sandy, Jody, Katie, Joanie, Linda, Carol, Barb, Beth, Kirk, as well as all the "nieces and nephews" that were a part of her extended family, the many special friends, her roommate, Michelle, bus drivers, B.J. and Helen, her nurses, Maureen, Jeanne, and Bev, and the many, many people at CLS Program who loved and cared for her. .

Friends are invited to call at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, Walton from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, Wednesday, June 21, 2006. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Flannery, officiating.

Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.
