Russell J. Reen, 73, originally of Staten Island, NY, until moving to Walton in 1996, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at home with his wife of

51 years at his side.

Russell was born November 3, 1950 in Staten Island, NY the son of the lateRussell J and Ruth (Sanhueza) Reen Sr.

On June 17, 1972 he married Diane Ferrulli (Reen). Russell was a Maintenance Man and Lock Smith at South Beach PsychiatricHospital in Staten Island, NY. He enjoyed helping anyone who needed help, collecting antiques, fixing vehicles, and tinkering around in his "Sanford and Son" yard. LOL

Russell had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by his many family members many friends.

Russell is survived by his loving family, wife, Diane, children, Danny and (daughter-in-law) Jodi Reen of Staten Island, NY, daughter, Deanna Reen

Besser and parter, Thomas Turner, of Brooklyn, NY. Grandchildren, Daniel and Jackson Reen, Ronald and Nicolas Besser all of Staten Island, NY and granddaughter, Payton Laundry of Walton NY. Siblings,brother- in-law, Pete Ferrulli and sister-in-law Kathy, Greta (sister in-law andbrother-in-law (Al Taylor pre-deceased ), and brother-in-law Nick Ferrulli andsister-in-law Maureen Ferrulli. He was pre-deceased by his beloved son and his best friend, Russell J. Reen III on September 10, 2017.

He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and adopteddaughter (LOL) and great friend Ruth Ann Utter of Walton. Russell also leaves

behind many brothers and sisters. Russell is also predeceased by his brotherBruce Reen

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11am at St.John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 25 Benton Avenue, Walton with

Rev. Edward J. Golding, celebrant. The family is in the care of CourtneyFuneral Home, Walton, NY.
