Ruth E. Sadecki, 81, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home following a long illness.

Ruth was born on June 1, 1936 in Walton, NY the daughter of the late Giles and Freda (Shields) Adams. On August 18, 1962 she married Walter S. Sadecki. He died on July 28, 2013.

Ruth was a registered nurse at Delaware Valley Hospital working in the emergency room in Walton for many years before retiring due to failing health.

Ruth is survived by her loving family, her children, Walter and MaryAnne Sadecki, Jr., Hallstead, PA; Steven and Terri Sadecki, Evergreen, CO; Mark and Renee' Sadecki, Mechanicsville, MD; David and Christy Sadecki, Hilton, NY; grandchildren, Casey, Nicole, Dede, Victoria, Andrew and Brianna, one great grandson, Brayden, brothers, David Adams, Bob Adams and a sister Joan McBurney, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 12 noon to 2 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton where services will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Lisa Ruth Mays, Officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery.
