Ruth B. Traynham, 88, of Walton passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Oneonta.

Born May 27, 1930 in Walton, she was the daughter of the late Merton and Elizabeth Figary Bartlett.

Ruth dedicated 27 years of service to the National Bank of Delaware County where she served as a Drive-up Bank Teller. She truly loved all her customers and continued to serve her community until her retirement in 1992. Upon retirement Ruth spent her winters in Florida enjoying the beautiful warm weather. Ruth had a passion for scrap booking and taking photos of her family and friends to have as treasured memories.

Survivors include her daughter Deborah Tietjen (Lynn) of Walton; sons Dennis Richardson (Bernice) of Walton and David Richardson of Carbondale, PA; Brother Donald Bartlett (Lucy); Sister Patti George (John); grandchildren Tricia, Tiffany, Matthew, Jennifer and Nathan. The highlight of her life during the past two years was her great granddaughter, Kyleen. Ruth is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husbands Howard D. Richardson in 1996 and Ralph T. Traynham in 2015.

A graveside service to celebrate Ruth's life well be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 1 P.M. at Walton Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
