Scott Jackson, 72, of Walton NY passed away at home after a short illness.  Scott was born July 5, 1952, to Chester and Eleanor Jackson, and was raised as their own by Effie and Peter Gensinger.

Scott was a beloved husband of 35 years to Denise; a loving father to Keith (Mary); Pete (Kelly); Melissa (Kevin); Dawn and Melissa; Lauren (Joe); TJ (Danielle).  Grandpa/ Pop Pop to Kayla, PJ, Nick, Victoria, Steven, Justin, Michael, Christopher, Nathan, Skylar, Trinity, Brina and Trey. Special Poppy Scott to his "adopted" Doig Family.  Scott also leaves behind his brother Larry (Robin), Sister Charlene, brother-in-law Bruce (Chris); sister-in law Roseann, many nieces, nephews and good friends, who will miss him dearly.

Scott dedicated 10 years to coaching Walton Little League, where he was awarded the "Outstanding Youth Worker Award" by the Delaware County Youth Bureau in 2013.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, love of sports, cars, woodworking, the outdoors, playing #'s and scratch offs.

Calling hours will be held 2-4pm on Friday March 28, 2025, at the Courtney Funeral Home in Walton NY.
