Sharon P. Nichols, 54 of Walton passed away Saturday morning, December 20, 2008 in Delaware Valley Hospital, after a long illness.

Sharon was born in Herkimer on September 11, 1954 the daughter of the late Wesley and Mabel Gray Moore. On March 23, 1982 she married Robert Nichols. Sharon was a certified nursing assistant employed by Park Terrace Adult Home, Walton. She loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her loving family, her husband, Bob, 1 son, Rocky (Mindy) Possemato, Pulaski, 2 daughters, Leeann (Jim) Haslem, Gilboa; Brenda (Mark) Shelton, Afton; grandchildren, Robert, Taylor, Jaden, Olivia, Hunter, Danien, Joshua, Ashley, brothers, Richard Moore, Springfield Center, Michael (Debra) Moore, Richfield Springs, sister in law, Gertrude Nichols, Walton, Aunt and Uncles, Dorothy and Mitch Elmore, Bucky and Rae Gray, both of Walton, Metta (Chester) Janczuk, VanHornsville, Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 3 to 5 PM at Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY, where services will be held at 5 PM with the Rev. Larry Light, officiating. Burial will take place in Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Little Falls.
