Sharyn A. D'Angelo, 65, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, in the comfort of her home, with her family by her side.

A lifelong resident, Sharyn was born on November 19, 1951 in Walton, the daughter of the late Lewis R. and Maude I. (Melius) Hulse, Sr. She was a graduate of Walton Central School, class of 1969. On October 19, 2001 she married Clemente D'Angelo in Walton. Together they created D'Angelo's Bed and Breakfast in 2003. Sharyn enjoyed sharing her home and meeting new people who stayed at the B&B. She was employed as the office manager at National Supaflu here in Walton until they closed in 1994. She was also a waitress for over 25 years. Friends remember her enthusiasm and laughter, always giving of herself to help others. Sharyn was a faithful member of the Hamden Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed going door to door in service doing what she felt was pleasing to GOD.

Sharyn was a member of the Hulse family and spoke often of her love of Country Music. She cherished every opportunity she had to sing with them. The Annual Family Reunions held at Austin Lincoln Park gave her a chance to sing with the "Hulse Brothers." Sharyn adored spending time with her grandchildren, they were a very special part of her life. She loved having sleepovers, telling them stories, horse back riding and playing in the park.

Sharyn is survived by her husband, Clem, her children, Julie Gladstone, Walton; Jillianne (Douglas) Elston, , Walton; Timothy (Tammy)Gladstone, Jr., Walton; Andrea (Russ) Doyle, Staten Island; Lori D'Angelo, Staten Island; Anthony D'Angelo, Walton; grandchildren, Skyler, Matthew, Brendon, Aubrie, Taylor, Kaitlin, Sarah, Joshua, Emily, Russell, Jr., Shaun, Meadow, and Blaze, brothers, Bobby (Sue) Hulse, Walton; Jimmy Hulse, Sidney; David (Lisa) Hulse, Sidney Center; Randy (Jeannie) Hulse, Walton; Ronnie Hulse, Walton; sisters, Vonnie (John) Osbourne, FL; Patty (Chuck) Crisell, Unadilla; Sandi (Dick) Becker, Franklin; Kathie Youmans, Walton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Lewis "Buddy" Hulse.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2 PM at The Kingdom Hall , 34906 State Hwy 10, Hamden.
