Shawn Christopher Peck, 53, passed away suddenly at home on November 17, 2020.

He was born July 27, 1967 in Walton N.Y. and was a lifelong resident of Walton.

Shawn loved spending time with his family and we will miss his stories and laughter. He was a self-taught musician, an especially talented drummer and loved "jamming" with friends. His interests included sports, grilling and gardening. He enjoyed riding his bike, driving on country roads and long walks with his beloved dog and constant companion, Bella.

He was a beloved son, survived by his parents Cindy and Sonny McNeil; his sisters Kellie (Casey) and Terrie (Peck Ligotino); stepsister Kelly (Hannwacker); stepbrothers Mark and Todd McNeil. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Shawn faced many challenges in his life with courage. He taught us to appreciate how precious life is and to always count our blessings. He's our angel, forever loved, forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Shawn's name to Heart of the Catskills Humane Society; 46610 NY-10, Delhi, NY 13753.

A graveside service will be held at the Walton Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
